Dark earth, sea and sky
Paintings inspired by the coastline and the interplay between sky, sea and rocks, mainly with influences from West Cornwall. I aim to create rich multi-layered surfaces, often with a sense of movement of the elements. Prussian Blue as well as other blue and dark grey and green hues and natural earth pigments are combined with rock powders and cold wax medium to impart texture during the process of creating and scraping back layers.
