One of a trio of works inspired by the beautiful granite coast around Porthcurno. The area is characterised by granite boulders and turquoise sea and is renowned for being the place from which  in 1870, the early submarine telegraph cables were placed, linking the UK with India. 

Framed, tray frame painted in Zoffany colour 'Half Paris Grey, framed size 88 x 63 x 3.5 cm.
