Long Day On The Tarrens

SOLD

Long Day on the Tarrens is inspired by a time, many years ago, when I was working as a geologist, mapping the hills south of Cadair Idris in southern Snowdonia. The rock strata, some 450 million years old, are monotonous dark grey mudstones, but on a glorious long sunny day, the hills are a glowing patchwork of colour.

Framed, white wood tray frame, framed size 33 x 33 x 3 cm.

Please note this painting is available to buy through Wychwood Art,  Deddington, Oxfordshire, but is available to view in my studio in St Ives. There are more images on Wychwood Art's website at the link below and purchase should be made through them, with collection from me in St Ives or the work can be posted.
