Through the Rocks (Porthgwarra)

£ 725.00

This work was inspired by the granite boulders on the wild South West Coastal Path between Land's End and Porthcurno near the small hamlet of Porthgwarra.   Perched high above the Atlantic Ocean, the rock is around 270 million years old. In oil, pigments, rock powder and cold wax, with 'sgraffito' scratching to add texture and a sense of age.

Framed, white St Ives tray frame, framed size 74 x 74 x 3.5 cm.
