To Zennor (I)

One of a series of four paintings inspired by the coast path between St Ives and Zennor. The walk along the cliffs and boulder-strewn coastal path has the sea as a backdrop, always beautiful and often turquoise. The palette of the painting is mainly hues of blues and greens with ochre, and the work is rich in texture and gestural marks.

Unframed on canvas, with paint continuing around the edges.
