All I Ever Wanted (II)

SOLD

This painting is the second in a series of four in a palette of turquoise and related sea-inspired colours. The process of painting the series was very intuitive. At quite an early stage, I realised they had a strangely ethereal feel about them, and as the process of painting continued, they emerged as fragments of memory of landscape, rocks, air and sea, almost floating and falling  through time and space. To me, they evoke a sense of the beauty of the Cornish coast, experienced in past, present and future, the known and the unknown, the finished and the unfinished.

Framed, white wood St Ives tray frame, framed size is 52 x 52 x 4 cm.
