One of a series of three paintings inspired by the beautiful coastal path from St Ives to Zennor, with its wonderful rocky boulders and cliffs close to the sea. The rocks are hundreds of millions of years old, and I wanted to reflect this through building up many layers of oil paint mixed with cold wax and rock powder, including natural pigments.
