This painting is inspired by many beautiful walks along the South West Coast Path from St Ives to Zennor. Godrevy Lighthouse is thought to be the inspiration for Virginia Woolf's 'To The Lighthouse'. While painting this piece, I particularly enjoyed creating the texture of the rock in the foreground.
